Cow production at BV Farms

Cow

Grass-fed cattle raised on open pasture

Overview

About our cow

Our cattle enterprise runs on rotational open pasture, allowing herds to graze fresh forage while soils recover between cycles. The result is well-marbled, naturally lean beef with consistent quality across every batch.

Every animal is individually tagged and tracked from birth through to dispatch, giving wholesale and retail partners full traceability on age, weight class and health history.

Our Process

How we raise it

01

Pasture rotation

Herds move across paddocks on a planned cycle that protects grass cover and reduces parasite pressure.

02

Nutrition

Grazing is supplemented with farm-milled grain and mineral licks formulated by our animal nutritionist.

03

Herd health

Scheduled vaccination, deworming and veterinary inspections with full record keeping.

04

Grading & dispatch

Animals are weighed and graded on site, then transported in low-stress, ventilated vehicles.
